Driving
The Wilderness Park is located 200km by road from Alice Springs and takes about two and a half hours depending on traffic and conditions. (https://roadreport.nt.gov.au/home)
Travel North from Alice Springs on the Stuart Highway for 20km and then turn left onto the Tanami Highway.
Travel 117km on the single-lane bitumen before turning left onto the Kintore Rd (signposted Papunya).
Travel 51km on a dirt road until you reach the turn off to the Wilderness Park (you will pass over 3 cattle grids and our turn off is just before the 4th grid).

Travel 6.4km along the driveway to reach the Reception and Convenience Store. Please shut any gates behind you as cattle do roam the area.
The roads are usually accessible by two-wheel drive but can be corrugated. Four-wheel drive is recommended.
Some bush-camp sites are four-wheel drive only. Please advise us in advance if you are in a two-wheel drive so that we can accommodate you.
Flying
There is a “most weather” crowned and compacted dirt runway at your disposal.
The runway is 1100 metres aligned 12⁄30
